The opening event of the EU-funded project LINEup will take place on September 20, after the summer break. It will be hosted by Karlsruhe University of Education in Germany, which is one of the few countries in Europe that systematically collects longitudinal data in education.
This event will provide an opportunity to learn from the German experience and to discuss with experts, practitioners and policy makers the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of setting up and maintaining a longitudinal data collection to study inequalities in education.
