A Pan-European study to reduce
inequalities in school education

LINEup aims to identify the key success factors for quality education for all by mapping and analyzing the research design and results of existing longitudinal data on students’ learning outcomes at primary and secondary level. The project focuses on academic achievement and attainment of basic skills as key elements for personal development, employability, social inclusion, and active citizenship.

The overall objective is to improve evidence on what shapes educational outcomes over time and to expand the knowledge base on student-centered interventions.

Lessons Learned newsletter: every six months a more scientific and policy oriented newsletter will summarise major results from the research. The intended readership includes researchers, policymakers and civil servants from governments and international and national organizations.
